HVAC Technician

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technicians work with electrical and mechanical components to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. They also conduct energy audits and consult with clients about energy saving practices. Some technicians choose to specialize in specific areas such as climate control, air quality, or commercial refrigeration. Their work not only ensures Houstonians are comfortable in our warmer and colder months but also determines the cost of our energy bills, the cleanliness of the air we breathe, and the well-being of our environment.

What to expect

Are you skilled with tools? Interested in learning about new technology? HVAC Technicians must be precise and knowledgeable on different systems. They have the opportunity to specialize.
